Snowy Morning and Valentine Inspiration . . .

After being unable to get up the hill and out of my subdivision this snowy morning, I decided to check out some of my favorite sites and found this really cute, really cheap Valentine wreath at The Idea Room .  I don't have many Valentine decorations so I am definitely going to try this one out.  Will you?

Deconstructing Christmas . . .

No, I am not one of those "take down the Christmas decorations before New Year's" kind of people--far from it!  Today I am packing away the last of them and wanted to share a few of my favorites with you.  Confession:  I'd share more, but my photos are lacking--maybe I should add "improve photography skills" to my accomplishments for 2011!

Beginnings . . .

Beginning a blog for 2011 is something I have wanted to do for some time . . . I receive a lot of inspiration from reading other's blogs and hope to share a little of what makes me me . . .  Although I am not a big resolution-maker (ones that I keep anyway!), there's something about the beginning of a brand New Year that is just bursting with possibilities--places to see, people to meet, books to read, projects to undertake, ways to improve myself physically, emotionally and spiritually . . . The past few days I have found myself cleaning out, purging, organizing, positioning myself to embrace all the possibilities ahead and hope to end 2011 healthier, more physically fit, having read more books, having taken the time to follow through on the numerous creative projects that roll around in my head, a better servant of God and others, taking the time to enjoy each and every day given to me, thankful for all the many blessings that I have.  I'll keep you posted along the way!
